48 years’ experience in insurance, accounting, & transportation.

Associate in Risk Management (ARM) certification, Insurance Institute of America, 1991.
OSHA 10 hour Construction Training certificate, 2004.
Attended 59 training classes at National Safety Council Congress meetings.
Attended eleven safety training cruises with Veterans of Safety International. 48 classes at sea.

4 years, Operations Manager various Air Freight Forwarders covering domestic & international air freight, Kansas City & Houston.

PROFESSIONAL SAFETY AFFILIATIONS:
Veterans of Safety International (VOSI), international safety organization, member since 1993.
1995 Elected to VOSI Board of Directors–still on the Board.
Since 1995 have served in VOSI positions of: Secretary, Vice President, President, Member of the Council of Ambassadors, Dean of the Council of Ambassadors, and headed a number of committees: Awards Committee, Long Range Planning Committee, Nominations Committee, and Scholarship Committee.
As a VOSI member, taught one day classes at the University of Central Missouri, to students pursuing undergraduate and graduate safety degrees.
12th. Biennial Governors Pacific-Rim Safety & Health Conference 2012, Honolulu, HI. Taught a course on Driver Distractions part II, An Update to Hazards, Practices & Regulations.

Texas Balance, Inc. Statewide church organization. Board of Directors for over 20 years and am still serving. Served as Secretary for five years, and Treasurer for 12 years.
